Tyler Bate is a British professonal wrestler and in 2016 became the youngest WWE United Kingdom Champion at the age of 19.
At the same age, Bate went vegan for ethical reasons and the health benefits soon followed.1
Bate doesn’t worry too much about protein intake – he just eats a lot of healthy and nutritious food to make sure he gets all the vitamins, minerals and nutrients he needs. And he gets all this done between 1 pm and 9 pm as he follows a type of intermittent fasting called time-restricted eating. Bate often starts the day with a smoothie or porridge with almond milk and nuts and seeds. Dinner consists of lentils, chickpeas and other pulses.1Levesley, D. 2019. Dairy and meat are awful. When an animal is killed, they release stress hormones such as cortisol. When you eat these same animals, you consume the same hormones. And it definitely has an effect on people.2Roberts, A. 2020. Meet the serioulsy strong WWE superstar who is completely vegan. Joe.co.uk.
